BAJA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is committed to the promotion of jazz education and the performance of jazz in the Bluegrass area. The Jazz Ambassadors are comprised of musicians from the community, both professional and amateur, and students from the University of Kentucky Jazz Studies Program. This 18-piece big band is under the direction of Artistic Director Miles Osland, and Musical Directors Raleigh Dailey and Mark Clodfelter. The Jazz Ambassadors has been performing since 2004 for the enjoyment of the community.
